Customised insect & mammalian expression strategies to fit your need

When your requirement is milligrams of material for research or POC studies, we select expression platforms that allow for short turnaround times and high expression levels. For expression in mammalian cells, we rely on our efficient transient transfection platform, using both CHO and HEK cells.

For projects in later development stages, we provide USP development services for both mammalian and insect cells. Our experts define optimal culture parameters for the desired titer, determine quality attributes and ensure process robustness and scalability. Our services include fast-track process development when timelines need to be condensed. Cell line development is performed through partnerships with technology companies. Depending on your requirements and constraints, we select IP-free or proprietary technologies to develop high-expressing cell lines.

To develop the best upstream process for your project, we first study cellular behaviour in different growth conditions to select the clones with the most appropriate growth characteristics. We then focus on developing and optimizing culture conditions with media and feeding strategies. The process will be transferred to a bioreactor to define the settings and process range and perform consistency runs for process confirmation.
