Our team, composed of dedicated and dynamic research scientists, engineers and technicians, is at the core of our business.
All members of our scientific team have between 8 and 15 years of experience developing bioprocesses for complex recombinant proteins. Our technical support staff is made up of seasoned and qualified technicians with an average of 10 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. Their expertise covers all stages and technologies involved in recombinant protein production.
In 2000, Eric founded GTP Technology, then one of the very few private organisations to offer custom services for recombinant protein production.
With an appetite for challenges and a solid scientific background, acquired through his PhD, PharmD, and, most recently, in 2012 Nobel Laureate Brian Kobilka’s lab at Stanford University Medical School, Eric has managed the strategic and operational development of GTP since the company was born.
The values he has instilled in the company - fighting spirit, scientific mind, creativity, adaptability, commitment to projects, independence – have helped established GTP as a recognised and valued partner in recombinant projects.
After a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at IPBS (Institut de Pharmacologie et Biologie Structurale) in Toulouse and a postdoctoral assignment at INSERM, Hervé joined GTP in 2002 as CSO.
He has since supervised over 1000 recombinant projects, from small scale for research to the development of complete GMP-ready bioprocesses, both in eukaryotic and in prokaryotic expression systems.
Together with our project management and technical teams, Hervé provides a high level of specialist expertise and scientific support to our customers.
