Based in Labege on the outskirts of Toulouse, GTP Technology is a biotechnology company offering custom services in recombinant protein expression.  The company is seeking a CUSTOM SERVICES MANAGER.

Your mission will consist in the technical management of the services platform. Using your technical and management expertise you will actively design and develop individual projects to meet the specifications of each client. Reporting to the Scientific Director your main responsibilities will include: 

• The conception and development of client focused solutions.
• Defining work objectives and ensuring that both internal and external specifications are respected.
• Advising and assisting project managers, in particular when defining priorities.
• Ensuring custom service efficiency by organising and focusing a multidisciplinary team (in molecular biology, cell culture, fermentation, and protein chemistry) of 15 individuals.
• Improving performance and service quality with a constant technological awareness.

Holding a Ph.D, you possess solid skills in molecular biology and protein biochemistry. You have a minimum 2 years post-doctorate experience and are fluent in English with a good understanding of French. 

Your listening and analytical skills, alongside your scientific expertise will allow you to rapidly define client’s needs and pre-empt problem areas within the project. With a proven expertise in project management you know how to motivate a team with your strong relationship skills. Autonomous, creative and innovative, your force lies in your ability to develop new strategies.
