GTP Technology is a biotech company dedicated to provide tailor-made solutions for the engineering and expression of recombinant proteins. The company was set up in 2000 by Eric Devic (Pharm.D. PhD) as a spin out from the Protein Engineering Department of P. Sabatier University in Toulouse, France.
GTP Technology offers its customers a comprehensive set of services for recombinant proteins, from gene cloning to protein production and purification and also, now, structural analysis with the Eiffel Biostructure platform. In addition, the company has extended its range of services and offers Real-Time PCR protocols development or optimization.
GTP Technology is renowned for its expertise - more than 200 proteins produced up to now - and for the quality of its services. As a result, the company has become one of the privileged partners of the main French pharmaceutical, biotech and food companies.

>1999 et 2000. The "GTP Technology project" is granted two "Innovative company creation" awards by "ANVAR / Ministere de la Recherche" .
>Oct 2000. Eric Devic (Pharm.D, PhD) founds GTP Technology as a public limited company. First industrial contract is signed with the French group Pierre Fabre.
>Janv. 2001. GTP Technology is one of just ten companies to receive an award from the "Aventis-Institut de France" foundation.
>Juin 2001. GTP receives an award from the "Midi-Pyrénées Entreprendre" network.
>Janv. 2003. GTP Technology moves to the " Prologue Biotech" building (Labege, France). The company employs 11 persons.
>Fev. 2003. Launch of a collaboration with INRA (Jouy en Josas, France) for the development of an innovant expression system using L. lactis and designed for high added value recombinant proteins production.
>Fin 2003. GTP Technology reinforces its collaboration with the French group Pierre Fabre by signing a recombinant protein supply agreement.
>Oct. 2004. GTP Technology reinforces its collaboration with the French group Pierre Fabre by signing a recombinant protein supply agreement.
>Dec. 2004. GTP Technology raises 450 keuros to finance its development.
>Avr. 2005. By means of the Eiffel Biostructure platform creation with its partners, AliX and NMRtec, GTP Technology extends its services to structural analysis.

Management profiles :
Eric DEVIC: Pharm.D, PhD, CEO and founder. Eric obtained a Pharm. D. at Montpellier (France) and a Ph. D. in molecular and cellular biology at the University of Toulouse (France). After 3 years (1997-2000) as a research associate at the Stanford University medical School (USA), Eric came back in France to found GTP Technology.
Hérvé GINISTY: PhD, CSO. Herve received a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology form IPBS (Institut de Pharmacology et Biologie Structurale) in Toulouse (France). After working on a post graduate assignment in human genetics at INSERM, Herve joined GTP Technology in 2002 as CSO.
Nathalie RISSE: PhD, Financial and Administrative Manager. Nathalie received a PhD in neurosciences from Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse (France) and then joined the London Guy's Hospital for a 3-years post graduate assignment. After working as journalist for a publishing company, Nathalie joined GTP Technology in 2001 as Financial and Administrative Manager.
Nicolas ISSALY: PhD, R&D Manager. Nicolas received a PhD in yeast genetics and physiology from ENSAM (Ecole Supérieure d'Agronomie de Montpellier, France). Between 2000 and 2003, he worked as a project director at the CRITT Bourgogne Technologies before joining GTP Technology to become R&D Manager.
Séverine HOUNTONDJI: Business Development and Marketing Manager. Severine is graduated from INSA engineer school in Toulouse (France). She worked as a sales engineer at Miltenyi Biotech and then as an Immunology Product Specialist at Bayer Diagnostics. She joined GTP Technology in January 2006.
